Enterprise Device Manager

Our Enterprise Device Manager is an enterprise level device monitoring, control and asset management application containing a central, visual repository of data centre infrastructure information. This web-based SQL application allows users to monitor and control multiple devices from a single console, which through its SSL web interface allows clients to view their infrastructure from any browser within the company intranet.

Automatic device discovery via multi-protocol supports SNMP devices, Business Edition UPS software, secure and non-secure web servers, Telnet devices, XML and Modbus. Support is also included for manually adding non-discoverable devices.

Clients' data centre layouts can be graphically imported enabling a global view of the data centres' infrastructure, across all levels down to rack level, to view hardware and status of all rack devices. In addition, thermographic views supporting colour coding of device states and icon view of groups and devices with user selected background images are enabled.

Aggregation of configuration information across device location, power and cooling, network connectivity, asset application and customer information provides 'real time' monitoring and identification of changes, scheduled polling and the ability to capture detailed data from any one of our Sinetica branded family of products to produce highly sophisticated, graphical management information reports, enabling trend analysis and risk management for mission critical services.

• Broadcast messages, e-mails or alphanumeric pages can be sent to multiple recipients when events occur.
• Alarm escalation occurs if not resolved after a selected period of time.
• Recognises when an alarm condition has cleared and automatically updates the alarm display and event log.
