We have a robust and very cost effective solution to this problem, with the Surepower Metered Transfer Switch. The unit will provide dual power for to 8 devices, for under £40 per outlet. The device connects to the 'A' and 'B' power supplies within the rack, powering up either 8 x C13 or 4 x UK outlets, from the rear of the unit.
Power will then be seamlessly delivered, by fast switching between supplies, in the event of an outage.
