The IQCab is a no-nonsense 'best of breed' solution exuding style and distinctive finesse, unlike any other Unite Technologies enclosure solution designed to date. Ideal for applications requiring affordable redundancy and high availability, the IQCab provides environmental and power monitoring, alerting and control, security and hardware management as a standard product offering, contributing to a genuine lights out environment.

The IQCab is a truly modular building block approach, fully packaged and available in a 'ready to run' integrated framework, designed to enable enhanced connectivity, performance and security, in addition to early warning and troubleshooting. The technology has been developed over time for the world's major global data centres and most prominent blue chip corporates and now, for the first time, is available to the SME market.

Compatible with all major network and server hardware devices, much design innovation and development has been invested into integrating the best security technologies into this solution. Presented are highly secure multi-point locking front and rear doors, a low profile vandal-proof door mounted keypad entry system and an intelligent local and remote cabinet access system, monitoring unauthorised access and providing lock status feedback. Add to this a bright, easy to read LCD module, built into the 80% open mesh front door panel moulding, providing RMS Amps, RMS Volts, kWhr, temperature and humidity readings, removing the need to access the cabinet, and all in all you have a robust and secure environment, achieved through design and engineering.

Free delivery within five workings days, the IQCab comes fully populated, configured and tested, deployed with discrete cabling and standard built in environmental temperature and humidity sensors. To maximise the benefit of full redundancy, the IQCab comes as standard with two built in 32A A & B feed power strips, providing intelligent monitoring or for those additional requirements, optional 32A power outlet controlled and individual outlet monitored power strips are available. The redundancy benefit is further enhanced with the provision of a pre-configured dual power fed Hawk-i² device, provided to offer 'real-time' monitoring, alerting and polled data capture, making the IQCab a truly redundant enclosure solution.

The standard offerings can be further enhanced by a range of standard and optional features, accessories and services including but not limited to a range of cable management solutions promoting increased efficiency of air flow management, optional Enterprise Device Manager software, providing a visual repository of data centre infrastructure information across all levels, data collection for trend analysis and reporting functions and hardware management technologies to provide vendor independent secure and centralised console management, ranging from KVM, Serial terminal servers, remote control of power ports and a secure gateway management based solution, known as CommandCenter to provide centrally authenticated and secure browser based access to access to any device via its console ports, management cards and/or software applications.

Additional Services can also be provided, any combination of which can be offered to simplify the deployment and integration of the IQCab. These include installation, configuration and testing, logistics, support and maintenance programmes and full energy management and audit consultancy.
